The Problem with Interactive Comics (Part 1)

For my capstone project proposal I’ve been reading a lot of interactive comics, and from reading them I’ve found that a lot of them I wouldn’t categorize as interactive comics. Or seem to have interactivity for the sake of it, rather then actually using it to support what they are trying to do in the comic.

Webcomic Trade Paperbacks

When I was at Connecticon this year I picked up a copy of Applegeeks’ first book. I finally got around to reading it, and its pretty interesting to re-read it again after so many years. It caused me to realize that reading a trade paperback of a webcomic is an altogether different experience then reading a trade of a normal comic book, or of even a newspaper comic.
