Objective vs. Subjective Storytelling (in Mass Effect 1 & 2)

While I was at GDC this past year I went to a lecture called “Get Your Game out of my Movie! Interactive Storytelling in Mass Effect 2,” which was being given by Armando Troisi of BioWare. the Campus Security Corps

Introduction:
What follows is a short story I was writing based on this idea from a forum I visit on occasion. They posted some drawings, and said write something based on them. Seemed like a neat idea, and figured it would be good practice, so I started working on something. What follows is that, although it is incomplete. It sort of just ends, and I really haven’t gone over editing at all, but wanted to post it anyway.

It’s set in the world of “From 1 to Zombie Apocalypse,” which was a game idea I had (which I used for a couple of classes.) It was a setting I really liked, which I’d like to go back to at some point, so this short story let me sort of dip my toe back in that setting.

The RavenHawk Incident

Introduction:
Here’s the first short story I’m posting here. It’s my first time writing this kind of story, and was certainly good for practice. The main character/concept was conceived originally as a book possibly, and this could probably be used as a first chapter, but I’m not planning on doing any more with this concept right now. Maybe after I’ve worked on some other things.

Now I haven’t really gone over this, so if there are any spelling or grammar things let me know and I’ll fix them up. Also its about 2500 words, so its a bit long.
